Instruction from professional photographer -
I recommend shooting with a camera with a lens up to 300mm. I shoot with a 100-400mm lens, but we can work with whatever camera you have. I have two cameras one with a wide angle lens (16-35mm) and the other with the telephoto (100mm-400mm).
• Bring extra batteries and memory cards and a lens cloth.
• Bring a small towel to protect the camera from potential spray
• Bring a light rain jacket to pull out if need be.
• Bring a hat and sunglasses for sun protection. Polarized glasses enable you to see through the surface of the water close to the boat.
• Bring a GoPro on a stick if you want to try getting any underwater shots from the boat.
• Do not bring a tripod. There isn’t space for it, and it is not helpful.

Trips will be departing from Mala Wharf in Lahaina. Check in at the Dive Maui Shop. We will walk as a group together from there. Please do not go to the boat ahead of group.
